Day 1: Arrival to Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
After admiring the stunning view of the world’s highest peaks, Ganngkar Puenshum, on the comfortable seat, you then arrive in the beautiful Paro Valley as you land. Your representative will warmly welcome & greet you on arrival and both of you will drive to the Paro Rimpung Dzong, the center of civil and religious authority in the area, then have lunch in Paro town.
After lunch, you will be driven to Thimphu along a river valley and you can take a glance at small villages and traditional farmhouses. On reaching Thimphu, we will have a short hike (Wangditse Hike), starting from BBS tower to Dechenphodrang, through pine forest. Participating in the hike, you will see how beautiful the Thimphu town is as it gives you a sweeping vista of this city capital. Later, in the evening, visit the Tashi Chho Dzong, then have dinner and overnight in Thimphu.

Day 2: Thimphu Stay
Waking up and starting your second day in Bhutan by marveling the sunrise (if you want), then you begin the sightseeing in Thimphu after breakfast, visit Memorial Chorten where memorizes the third King late Jigme Dorji Wangchuk and the temple inside will give an insight into tantric Buddhist and its philosophy. Visit Mothithang mini zoo to take a look at Bhutan’s National Animal (Takin), then come to Zulikha Nunnery, the Thangtong Dewachen Nunnery which is home to sixty nuns engaging in Buddhist study and practicing. There are several destinations you will pay a visit to such as the Folk Heritage Museum, a showcase or the 19-century farmhouse, reflecting the lifestyle of the Bhutanese family, and the National Library where preserves many ancient Dzongkha and Tibetan texts. Have lunch in Thimphu.
In the afternoon, visit Paper Factory where produces Bhutanese traditional papers and other paper products. Then, head to Weaving Center where there are very few places that you can watch weavers at work.

Day 3: Transfer from Thimphu to Punakha
Your third day will begin with a trip to Punakha, driving over dochula pass (3150m). It will be great to marvel at 108 small stupas stretching along the pass and the stunning vista of the eastern Himalayan Mt range. On reaching Punakha, we will visit Punakha Dzong, the most beautiful Dzong in Bhutan and have lunch in Punakha. En route, we head to Chhimi Lhakhang, one of the most well-worth visiting temple because of its unique outside look, interior furniture as well as its history. Then, we continue to drive to Punakha. In the evening, you will be free to discover Punakha your way. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Day 4: Transfer Punakha to Wangdi – Paro | Enjoy Paro Festival Tour
Wake up and have breakfast, then drive to Dochula Pass – Paro. On the way back to Paro, once again, we will get a chance to behold the gorgeous view of the Himalayan Mt range. Along the way back, stop and take photos wherever you want. Have lunch in Paro. The afternoon will start by enjoying the Paro Festival. Later, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Taktsang Goemba Hiking Trip
Today, we will enjoy a hike to the Paro Taktshang Monastery (The Tiger’s Nest) to witness the most famous, beautiful, and sacred monastery in Bhutan. The trail will take about 2 hours long and on the way heading up to the monastery, we will climb through the pine forest where converges many trees festooned with Spanish moss. Lunch at Taktshang cafeteria.
After lunch, back to the village of Drukgyel and visit the ruins of the Drukgyel Dzong, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan. Later, dinner at Paro, then you will be free to stroll around Paro Valley town, witness the nightlife in such a beautiful area. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Paro Departure
Say farewell to Bhutan. After breakfast, your representative will meet you, pick you up, and both you will drive to the Paro International Airport for your flight. Thank you very much for choosing us to be your partner on your Bhutan tour and we always look forward to seeing you again to Bhutan.
